At the Festival at Sandpoint Summer Series, we strive to provide all our guests with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable atmosphere and implement industry safety standards by observing the policies below.
Please note that security measures, policies, and procedures are subject to change at the artist's discretion.
VENUE POLICIES
After careful consideration, the Festival at Sandpoint has made the difficult decision that outside liquids will no longer be allowed into the Summer Performance Series.
Obtaining adequate insurance has become increasingly difficult, with most insurers declining coverage altogether due to our previous beverage policy, therefore threatening our ability to sustainably fulfill our mission and serve our community.
Empty 32oz (or less) water bottles are encouraged, with free refillable water stations available throughout the venue. Outside food will be allowed in the venue.
We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our valued guests as we work together to ensure a memorable and safe experience for everyone.
NEW VENUE POLICY FOR 2025
-

The Festival at Sandpoint’s on-site bars will continue to service beer, wine, and cocktails for guests over 21 to purchase inside the venue.
Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase at all Festival Street food vendor locations and bars.

The Festival at Sandpoint is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests. In line with this commitment, beginning in 2025, outside liquids will no longer be permitted at the annual Summer Series.
After careful consideration, board approval, a multi-year review process, and consultation with community stakeholders and industry experts, including insurance providers, the Sandpoint Police Department, and talent agencies, the Festival at Sandpoint has made the difficult decision to prohibit the entry of outside liquids into the Summer Performance Series.
This policy is being implemented to enhance the overall safety of all our attendees, volunteers, and performers, while also complying with entertainment standards and insurance requirements. Additionally, obtaining adequate insurance has become increasingly difficult, with most insurers declining coverage altogether due to our previous beverage policy, thus threatening our ability to sustainably fulfill our mission and serve our community.
We are extremely proud the Festival at Sandpoint was able to keep this tradition, years and decades past most other venues, however, the liability risk to our non-profit organization has simply become too great.
Empty 32oz (or less) water bottles are encouraged, with free refillable water stations available throughout the venue. Glass of any kind is not permitted in the venue. Outside food will be permitted in the venue.
The Festival at Sandpoint is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization with a mission to enrich the local community by providing a wide array of diverse opportunities to engage with arts, music, and culture through performances, experiences, and education in an attempt to promote cultural diversity, community connection, and engagement, and stimulate the economic vitality of the region.
The Festival deliberately works to offer lower ticket prices to provide accessible performances for a wide audience. In addition to our beloved Summer Performance Series, we provide free music education programs throughout the community to thousands of local children year-round.
We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our valued guests as we work together to ensure a memorable and safe experience for everyone.

No guest shall bring any animal, bird, fowl, fish, reptile, and/or any pet of any kind onto the premises at any time.

If these devices interfere with the service dog’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices, the individual must maintain control of the dog through voice, signal, or other effective controls.
Service dogs must be housebroken and should use the service dog relief area.
