Festival at Sandpoint Distributes 200 Tickets in Collaboration with Innovia Foundation

This year, the Festival at Sandpoint was proud to partner with Innovia Foundation on the 2024 Grand Finale performance of How to Train Your Dragon - In Concert.

The family-friendly music and film experience on Sunday, August 4 was generously underwritten by Innovia to continue celebrating community across the region in honor of their 50th Anniversary this year.

Innovia’s investment in the event supported the Festival’s annual Ticket Outreach Program and free face painting for attendees before the performance.

“We were excited to have Innovia’s support in both underwriting this performance and increasing the number of tickets we are able to distribute through our annual Ticket Outreach Program,” Executive Director Allison Baranski said. “Through community partnerships with organizations like Innovia, we are able to ensure even more low-income and underserved families can access this unique musical experience and cherished community tradition.”

With Innovia’s support through its 50th Anniversary Grant and Community Grant, the Festival at Sandpoint was able to distribute 200 tickets to underprivileged individuals.

The program works in close partnership with local schools and organizations to ensure free tickets reach those who need them most, including underserved community members, those with special needs, seniors, and veterans.

“As the community foundation serving Eastern Washington and North Idaho, Innovia is committed to making arts and cultural experiences more accessible for all,” Innovia Foundation CEO Shelly O’Quinn said. “Our partnership with the Festival at Sandpoint was a perfect opportunity to celebrate Innovia’s 50th anniversary and ensure that more children, families, and local residents could enjoy this special performance.”
