Doug Hawkins Jr.
Doug is a sixth-generation Sandpoint resident. Doug, his wife, and their six kids are active in the Bonner County community and love attending the Festival at Sandpoint every year. Doug is also an active runner and outdoorsman.
Doug graduated from Sandpoint High in 1998 and then attended the University of Idaho, obtaining a B.S. in Marketing and a B.S. in Economics. After graduating, Doug was nomadic, working as a consultant based out of Indianapolis. Doug then moved on to selling advertising in Colorado Springs before returning to Sandpoint to work full-time at Litehouse while also earning his MBA at Gonzaga, which he completed in December of 2007. With his career at Litehouse, Doug has served in numerous roles in Sales, Marketing, and Innovation. He also spent a portion of this career based out of Connecticut and Florida, helping Litehouse grow its eastern business. Doug brings over 20 years of leadership and marketing experience, including event marketing, fundraising, and project management. Doug has previously served our area as a Sandpoint City Councilman and member of the Bonner County Economic Development Corporation. He currently also serves our community as the Chair of the Pend Oreille Economic Partnership [PEP] and nationally serves as the Chair of the Association of Dressings and Sauces [ADS].
