What to Know Before You Go to the 2023 Festival at Sandpoint Summer Series
The Festival at Sandpoint’s Summer Series is less than one week away. Here is all of the important information you need to know before you go to the 2023 Summer Series.
Tickets to Train with Better Than Ezra, Michael Franti & Spearhead with SOJA, and REO Speedwagon with Charlie Farren are already sold out!
Tickets are selling fast, so those who are interested in attending a 2023 Summer Series performance should act fast and purchase tickets today. All performances are sold first come, first serve.
Guests are encouraged to check the Festival website directly to ensure they are purchasing authentic tickets. The Festival at Sandpoint only sells tickets through ETix and does not work with any outside websites to sell tickets. Additionally, they do not work with any ticket resellers who mark up ticket prices, including sites like Tickets Center, Vivid Seats, Event Tickets Center, or StubHub.
The Festival at Sandpoint cannot guarantee that any tickets bought through third-party ticket sellers are legitimate and cannot verify your tickets or refund your purchase in the event of a cancellation.
Free event parking is available at 410 S Division Street in the Sandpoint High School parking lot. A free SPOT shuttle service is available to and from the venue for all performances. Daily shuttle times are posted in the full 2023 Festival event program.
To make the most of your Festival days, guests are encouraged to check out the individual schedules for each performance, as gate security protocols and show times may differ between days.
The Early Entry and Season Pass lines are located on the lakeside of the War Memorial Field. The Sponsor line is located on Ontario Street, with the General Admission line beginning in Lakeview Park.
The Festival’s venue map, including the location of lines and designated seating areas, is also available online by visiting www.festivalatsandpoint.com/venue-map.
While inside the Festival at Sandpoint’s Summer Series, guests can sample local cuisine from one of the 11 Festival Street food and drink vendors and try a refreshing beverage from the full-service bar. The Festival at Sandpoint is a cashless venue. Debit and credit cards are the only accepted forms of payment.
Unfortunately, due to an aging tent and in the best interest of guests, talent, and staff safety, the Festival at Sandpoint has made the necessary decision to retire the historic white tent ahead of the 2023 Summer Performance Series.
“Through our routine annual inspection and investigation to replace our current tent, it was discovered that the tensile-type tents that the Festival has historically used are no longer considered safe for concert operations. The safety of our fans, volunteers, staff, and talent is of the utmost importance,” Executive Director Allison Baranski said. “It is with heavy hearts that we had to make this unexpected decision. Though it will be sad not to see the iconic tent silhouette each year, we hope to remind our fans of the Festival’s first 40 years with our beloved tent silhouette incorporated into much of what we do moving forward.”
Before attending the Festival at Sandpoint’s 40th Summer Series, guests should note important policies and prohibited items.
In an effort to offer the best guest experience and expedite line wait times, guests will not be allowed to re-enter the Festival this year. Once guests have scanned their tickets and entered War Memorial Stadium, they will not be able to return upon exiting. As a reminder, all ticket sales are final, and the Festival cannot offer refunds or exchanges for all ticket holders.
Hard-sided coolers, rolling coolers, wagons, strollers, weapons, glass, and pets will not be permitted. Soft-sided coolers are still allowed into the venue. Although not required, clear bags are encouraged to expedite your security scanning process.
Artist security requirements vary by show. Please visit www.festivalatsandpoint.com/policies for the complete list of all prohibited items and policies
